OUR ACCOMMODATION
We have fitted out our rooms with a Swahili style, carved, high frame bed and white cotton sheets. The ceilings are exposed timber beams with white painted walls to provide a simple and calming ambience. You will also find a writing desk, side lamps as required and secondary seating to allow you to relax or catch up with a little work in your own private area should you need to. The floors are local polished and coloured tadelakt and the rooms are made up each day after breakfast and the mosquito nets prepared before sun down.
All our rooms have a muliti-speed fan over the bed, a small fridge, two glass, filtered water bottles, a safe for valuables that will fit a laptop, and room specific WiFi. The power supply is 13 amp, UK three point plug type, so bring an adaptor if you need.
The shower rooms are mostly lime finished polished walls and have shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied so you don't have to pack them, and we provide thick, white pile towels for your comfort and a colourful kikoy with a towelling inner
for pool or beach use.
THE ACACIA ROOM & TERRACE
The third floor spacious acacia room has a large double bedroom and shower room, and steps up to a private, covered rooftop terrace with views across the roof tops and trees to the neighbouring island of Manda. The magnificent acacia tree fills all the windows of one side, and a huge tamarind greets the terrace. This roof top room is said by all 'to be high but heaven'.
This bedroom has enough space to allow for a single bed for child sharing the room with parents.

THE TAMARIND APARTMENT
This apartment, on the second floor spans most of the width of the tower entering through the large dining and sitting verandah. There is a separate well equipped self-catering kitchen for guests needs or earlier childrens' meals.
There are two double bedrooms in the Swahili style, the front garden room having its own private balcony under the tamarind tree. The rear garden room is a large double and has direct access to the dining terrace.
The twin room looks on to the rear garden and shares the double room's shower. One flight of stairs further up is your own, delightful, and private sun terrace.

THE GARDEN ROOM
This delightful room has a covered verandah at its entrance for comfortable outside seating, a double bedroom and good sized shower room. It is conveniently located as it sits at one corner of the tower looking at the garden and is quiet and peaceful.
